  8.    Written in 100% Assembly Using DevpacII

  10.    This game has been written in exactly one month for the 'win a job at 
  11.    bullfrog competition'.
  12.    
  13.    I wanted to keep the same square wave formation and left to right 
  14.    movement of the aliens as I felt this was core of the game and so 
  15.    worked my original idea arround that restriction. 
  16.  
  17.    My other plan was to write a game based on the diplomatic relations 
  18.    between an alien race and earth requiring subtle alien psychology
  19.    and original thinking, was abandoned as being so unlike space invaders 
  20.    as to be a completely different game.

  22.    The Game has two main parts 
  23.    
  24.    The Fisrt part
  25.    
  26.    You ( Mr Wobbly Leg) have to attain a ranking of first class pilot
  27.    in order to do battle with the alien legions. 
  28.    To do this you must collect five stars of glory without dieing.
  29.    The stars are on the far right hand side of the screen. A lever to 
  30.    make the Stars appear is on the far left. The only problem is the
  31.    sixty, plasma squirting, Killer Death Guardians (Aliens) inbetween.

  33.    Moving quickly on....
  34.    
  35.    Having obtained the five stars of glory ( Yes the Orange ones). You
  36.    must now collect as many Power spheres ( Yes the grey ones) as possible.
  37.    These will give you better hardware when shove turns to push and you
  38.    have to go hand to hand with the plasma squirting, Killer Death Guardians.

  40.    The Second Part
  41.    
  42.    Having dodged and weaved your way here you must now murder the Aliens
  43.    ( even if they do only want to be friends and the plasma they squirt 
  44.    is only a strange form of extra terrestrial communication).
  45.    
  46.    The mother ship ( Yep it's in there ) must be shot to give you more men
  47.    to collect the stars of glory with in the next round.
  48.    
  49.    Ad Infanitum...

  52.    The Game can only be completed by collecting enough Power spheres
  53.    to make the ultimate final weapon......
  54.    
  55.    The highest score and the maximum number of runs made by Mr wobbly
  56.    in one life are recorded.
